John McConville

John McConville, aged 20 years, killed on January 5th 1976 Ð Civilian

John McConville was one of 10 Protestant workmen machine-gunned to death by a group calling itself the Republican Action Force but commonly believed to be a cover name used by the Provisional IRA for that attack. In what became known as the ÔKingsmills MassacreÕ the workmen were taken from their mini bus, lined up at the side of the road and shot to death.
