Rose Kelly

Rose is a primary school teacher in Social Eoghain Moville, Co Donegal.   A native of the town she has taught there for over thirty years.  She was a co founder and facilitator of the Glasóige youth group which worked on human and environmental rights in and around the town.  During a career break from the formal education sector (2012 to 2015) she worked as Global Education Co-Ordinator with Dublin based Afri (Action From Ireland).  Afri works on the rights of human and the more than human in the web of life.  Rose was also a board member with Children in Crossfire for over twenty years. She is a co founder and member of both Save Inis Eoghain from Gold Mining, and Communities Against the Injustice of Mining (CAIM), as well as being a member of Rights of  Nature Donegal. Rose has been a board member of Gaslight Media Trust since 2015.
